«Feuer auf dem Dach der Welt» ist eine Sammlung kurioser Kabinettstückchen, entstanden im minimal ausgerüsteten Heimstudio. Ruhig und klar, gebändigt und gedankenverloren ziehen die achtzehn titellosen Instrumentalstücke ihre Kreise auf Vinyl. Irgendwo zwischen Zielscheibe und Sonnenkorona, die die Plattenetikette zieren, irgendwo zwischen abgezirkeltem Stillleben und verstohlener Seance im Hinterzimmer machen Gitarren und Schlaginstrumente Miniaturen für einen elektrischen Zoo. Ein seltsamer Ausflug.
